Let's start from the beginning...Cielo (pronounced Chee-el-o) is Italian for "heaven" which we thought appropriate for our wonderful sauces. They are a little taste of heaven, so we are told. We are Walter and Tracey Tolson, of beautiful Gorham Maine. Both my husband and I (a chef by trade), consider ourselves extremely lucky to have grown up in households where food always seemed to play a large part in our daily lives. So I think our pasta sauce was a natural progression. Both our family's holidays and get-to-gethers seemed to always center around the meal. And what great meals they were.
