As an orthopedic surgeon focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr. Kevin Crawford's expertise includes arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee, and elbow with an emphasis on advanced arthroscopic techniques. History: Dr. Crawford is a Lubbock native and attended Monterey High School prior to graduating from Baylor University in 1987. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, in 1992. After completing an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in 1997, he returned home to join the physicians of Lubbock Sports Medicine (formerly Lubbock Bone & Joint Clinic). In 2003, he accepted an invitation to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship with the prestigious Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. During his year-long fellowship he received advanced training in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. He has authored several book chapters and been published in a number of peer reviewed journals. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North American, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

We are an out-patient based physical therapy clinic affiliated with University Medical Center in Lubbock, Tx. Our clinic staffs physical therapists with advanced credentialing aimed at providing outstanding customer service. Diagnoses treated in our clinic can include but are not limited to: spine related issues, arm and leg injuries, post-operative care, general deconditioning, osteoarthritis, etc... We have obtained a state of the art treadmill know as the Alter-G (www.alter-g.com) which allows you to walk/jog/run in an unloaded environment by utilizing compressed air. In order to be seen in our clinic you you must obtain an order from a referring physician and simply call to make an appointment. We will verify your insurance. The medicare cap does not apply to us.
